For 17 years, my work has connected people, programs, and employers across government, education, nonprofits, and workforce development. Behind every résumé, training program, and job opportunity is a person trying to build a better future. That is the part of this work I care about most.
I’ve coordinated training and employment support for people returning to their communities after incarceration. That included helping with practical steps such as obtaining documents, scheduling physicals and permit appointments, tracking training, and connecting with employers. A career pathway has many steps, and people deserve guidance through those steps.
I’ve also worked in skilled-trades career services and employer engagement, supporting pathways in fields such as HVAC, electrical, welding, automotive, diesel, and CDL. My work has included employer outreach, interview coordination, graduate follow-up, and keeping track of opportunities and outcomes. It has given me a view of both sides: the person preparing for a role and the employer looking for someone ready to do the work.

I wanted to bring that experience into a space where people can ask questions, learn about their options, and build a plan for moving forward. A résumé is one piece. Understanding your skills, finding the right training, preparing for interviews, and knowing how to take the next step matter too.
